Church Overview
Dublin-Powell church of Christ is a mid-size congregation with approximately 80 members attending weekly. The demographics of the congregation are diverse and include young families and retirees. The church is supported by elders, deacons, volunteer teachers, and a part time youth minister.
We believe that God's creation is in a state of separation from God, and that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to restore us to communion with Him. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and our ultimate authority for faith and salvation. We seek to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where it is silent.
We are striving to be the kind of church described in the New Testament - a church with heart-felt worship, Bible based teaching, love for each other, congregational singing, prayer, and compassionate care for all who are in need.
